PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

The youngest student at Salesian College is 11 years of age; the Past Pupils from the first intake of students are 62 years of age. Yet they can all say they belong to Salesian College, and they have their stories to tell. The old saying rings true, ”You can take the boy out of Salesian College but you cannot take Salesian College out of the boy.

”What St John Bosco wanted for his boys, is that they be happy now and for eternity. That is still the principle aim of the educators at Salesian College. The boys who leave Salesian College know that happiness is a gift that you give to others and that you, in turn, receive from others.

Boys who have left Salesian College have entered into a vast range of careers and many have made and are making a positive contribution in the world of work and in family life. This is the legacy of Salesian College – that the world is better for the Past Pupils who have received their education at this school of life.

Fr. Chris Ford, Principal
