Professional dance instructors from a local studio take the group through the steps of the Cha Cha, Modern Waltz and many other well known dance classics. Everyone thoroughly enjoys the lessons and benefits greatly from the experience, despite a few trodden on toes.

The lessons culminate in a Dance Finale held in the College Hall. Students are able to demonstrate individual skills they have developed during their formal dance lessons, followed by a dancing competition with winning pairs taking home trophies. Students then share dinner before dancing the night away. Our Year 11 VET Music students show their talents by providing music for the dance evening.

The Dance Evening is a great success with staff and students from both schools enjoying themselves and new friendships being developed.
